To have a further knowledge on the current trends and possible challenges related to project management, ProjectPro, Inc. with partnership with Oracle conducted an event that tackles about the situation and the ever-changing environment in the Construction and Engineering Industries.
Held last March 19, 2019 at Discovery Primea in Makati City, the half-day forum entitled Construction & Engineering Executive Forum: Solutions for Enterprise Project Management, was attended by various sectors such as power, utilities, construction & engineering, and real estate. A total of 23 companies with 42 participants attended that said activity with most of them came from top management levels such as President, Vice President, Construction Managers, Planning Department Heads with others were profiled as Project Managers/Directors, Planners and Engineers.
Mr. Ibarra Paulino, Executive Director of Philippine Constructors Association, Inc.,(PCA)
During the activity, Mr. Ibarra Paulino, the Executive Director of Philippine Constructors Association, Inc.,(PCA) delivered the keynote speech to which he talked about the 10-year journey of Philippine Construction Industry in transformation to become a global partner in quantity and quality that is strong, productive and transparent. Mr. Paulino also mentioned about the programs implemented by PCA to develop the industry’s human capital that leverages on technology and innovation for global partnership in the 21st Century.
President of ProjectPro, Inc., Mr. Victoriano Yap, also shared his knowledge about the most common causes of project failure and how Oracle Primavera P6 Enterprise can help address the challenges of contractors in managing their projects in enterprise set-up. He also highlighted that thru project management software, companies will be able to save time and cost and they can managed efficiently the manpower allocation.
Another speaker during the forum was Mr. Sachin Kataria, a Solution Specialist from Oracle. Kataria discussed about how Oracle’s solutions can help the Construction & Engineering sectors to digitize, monitor, and manage budgets, commitments, expenses, forecasts, and business processes within the organization and more.
Before wrapping up the activity, two winners from raffle were announced. The 2nd prize was awarded to First Balfour, Inc. (on the left picture) while the 1st prize was bagged by MPCALA Holdings, Inc. / MPTSouth Management Corp. (on the right picture).
